iPad Gets You Up Close and Personal
Hand a prospect an iPad, with your product deck or a demo on it. Watch their eyes as they swipe and scroll with some simple finger movements. The real magic is not the high resolution screen or the ease that comes with using an iPad. As soon as a prospect picks it up, they “connect” with your product and they seemingly become engaged. The iPad is very much a “social device”. Unlike your typical laptop-based Powerpoint presentation, when you use an iPad it removes a barrier. The prospect is no longer simply part of an audience. Now they are a participant and they feel a sense of control. This kind of up close engagement should make your presentation more memorable, and will hopefully remove the stigma of the typical sales pitch.
Give it a try.
